Photography in Barcelona is one of the biggest photography meetups in Barcelona. Their monthly Photography Walks are relaxed, fun, educational but also a great way to meet new people and catch up with the regulars. This time the plan was to head to the Born area for some street photography but the group (nearing 50) was just too big for the Born so we headed to the beach! About an hour into the walk, the leaders Ben and Harry divided the group into two smaller ones according to level of experience to facilitate some customized teaching tips: beginners & advanced.
Once more we were blessed with a bright and sunny Barcelonian day along with a lovely sunset at the end of the meeting bringing a blast of cold wind followed by a rush to the bar for a rewarding drink for most of us. The die hard photographers, however rolled up their sleeves and even pants and headed off towards the water because the light was just getting very interesting. The idea of a nice drink could not lure us away that easy, or at least not just yet.
Throughout the walk, I kept true to my style of photography and focused on capturing some portrait shots of the people in action.
