Trying to find the perfect camera bag or camera for that matter, is like trying to find a unicorn; it doesn’t excite! So you have to make do with what is out there and adapt to your needs.
Last year I got the Lowepro ProRunner AW 350; the big bag seen below. I needed a bag with the following criteria’s: Carry-0n + As much gear as possible + Laptop + Back pack + Easy to dive it and grab stuff on location… And the bag has done great! I’ve taken it on job across Europe; UK, Spain, France, Belgium, Croatia & Poland … so that’s the reason it’s lost it’s shine compared to the new little ProRunner AW 200 below.
So why another bag I hear you say? Well yes, photographers can be a little bit in the bag’people category … I do a some work in the city for quick one hour portraits or jobs that are just a few hours and the problem with a big bag like the 350 is .. well it’s too big and over the top for certain jobs … You stand out like a sore thumb, it’s difficulty moving in small spaces like the metro or big crowded events … so it call for something with a lower profile, lighter but still has that comfort and can pack more then you’ll need!
This little bag can still easily fit the all camera gear you’ll need to complete most jobs with ease and I love it, it’s already proven it self on a couple of the jobs where I can pack it, grab it and head off into the city for the hour or two shoot and I’m not having to watch behind me incase i knock someone over when i turn – RECOMMENDED!
